Cancellation Policy
How order and subscription cancellations work on Vemate.

1. Order Cancellation — One-Time Purchases
Before Payment is Processed
You may abandon your cart or leave the checkout page at any time before completing payment — no cancellation is required, and no charge will be made.
After Payment is Processed
Once a payment is successfully processed and the digital product has been delivered or access has been granted, the order cannot be cancelled except under the following conditions:
- The product was not delivered due to a technical failure (see Refund Policy)
- The Creator has explicitly offered a cancellation window in their product's refund policy
- The product is materially different from its description
- A duplicate charge was made for the same order
Window for Cancellation Requests
- Cancellation requests must be raised within the Creator's stated refund window (typically 0–7 days)
- Platform-level cancellation requests must be raised within 30 days of the purchase date
- Requests beyond 30 days will not be entertained, except in cases of fraud
2. Subscription Cancellation
Vemate and some Creators offer recurring subscription products (e.g., monthly community access, recurring coaching plans).
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from Account Settings → Subscriptions
- Your access continues until the end of the current billing period
- No prorated refunds are issued for the unused portion of the current period, unless the Creator's policy states otherwise
- No future charges will be deducted after cancellation is confirmed
- Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund for the last charge — please refer to the Refund Policy if applicable
3. Coaching Session Cancellation
- For 1-on-1 coaching sessions, cancellation or rescheduling policies are set by the individual Creator
- If a Creator cancels a confirmed session, you are entitled to a full refund or rescheduled session, at your choice
- If you (the buyer) cancel a confirmed session, the Creator's stated cancellation policy applies
- Typically: cancellation more than 24 hours before the session → eligible for refund (per Creator's policy); cancellation within 24 hours → generally non-refundable
4. Creator Account Cancellation
Creators may request to close their Vemate account by contacting support@vemate.in. Upon account closure:
- All active product listings will be deactivated immediately
- Pending payouts will be released after a 30-day review period
- Existing buyers' access to purchased products will be handled on a case-by-case basis
- KYC and transaction records will be retained as required by Indian law
5. Platform-Initiated Cancellation
Vemate reserves the right to cancel any order or account in the following circumstances:
- Suspected fraud, money laundering, or policy violations
- Orders from sanctioned or blacklisted entities
- Technical errors resulting in incorrect pricing or product availability
- Court orders or regulatory requirements
- Compliance or regulatory action required by Easebuzz (our payment gateway partner), including but not limited to sanctions screening, AML checks, or marketplace policy enforcement
In such cases, affected buyers will receive a full refund. Creators whose listings are cancelled due to policy violations forfeit pending earnings until investigation is complete.

Response Time: We acknowledge all requests within 24 hours and resolve within 7 business days.
